In Prek 3 we participate in daily Snack & Share. This is where a select student is designated to provide snack for our class for that selected date. As well as brining in snack we encourage them to bring in a Show & Tell object as well. For morning students only we ask you send in snack for 15 children and for school day children we ask you bring in snack for 15 students in the morning and 10 for the afternoon.
Please note we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of the children in our school. Accordingly, please be advised that there are children in our school family identified with a life-threatening food allergy.
We are respectfully requesting alternative food choices for all children rather than foods that contain peanuts or tree nuts (for example: almonds, brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, walnuts) for snack.
Some children have severe reactions to certain foods, so I would also ask you to remind your children not to share their food with other children.
Please call the school's Health Office if you have any questions or concerns and thank you for your efforts to help us accommodate children with life threatening conditions.
