Homework

Homework policy:
Students will have a weekly homework assignment calendar. In this calendar, the weekly homework assignments will be listed out for each subject area (math, science, social studies, and spelling). Students will have about 30 minutes of homework. 15 minutes will be devoted to subject areas and 15 minutes to reading a chapter book. Students will turn in homework the next day in the bin labeled Turn In. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

Where Can I Find the Homework?
- Students will write their homework in their planners. This is where you can check!
- Once we have our google classroom up and running the students and yourself can also check there :) 

What about the weekends?
Students will get homework most days during the week. We will have time in class to start the homework and go over questions. I typically will not give any written work over the weekends. Kids should be kids and enjoy time with friends and family. Students should read every night or at least try! Students will have a reading log to keep track of their book and pages read. Students can read by themeselves or out loud with a family member! Try for 10-15 mintues!
